Youngest son of the Cuban composer Ángel Díaz (see more about feeling) Angelho studied ways of art from an early age, in music, acting and painting. Graduated from the Conservatory of Havana and awarded with numerous distinctions and musical recognitions, Maestro Díaz has walked his art -performing and pedagogical- through 3 continents, keeping it active for more than three decades.
Accompanying pianist and concert pianist, he was a professor at the Quito National Superior Music Conservatory and the Pontifical Catholic University of Guayaquil in the Republic of Ecuador, a country where he received the Guayasamín Award as a performer of contemporary music, in addition to founding the Raíz Cúbica Jazz Trio.
In the field of non-classical music, he has collaborated with countless international groups and soloists (Omara Portuondo, Carmen González, Anais Abreu, Mundito González, Grupo Oru/Manguare, Fundación Koral Esmeraldas, Lucho Gatica…) as a performing musician. , arranger and recording artist. For a decade he has lived in New York City.
